# Overview

The purpose of this document is to explain how the Alpha Ventures DAO functions, including but not limited to, entry/exit of the DAO, investment lock-ups, fundraising, dividends, and future mechanisms

**Objective:** The Alpha Ventures DAO is the sister project of the Alpha Ventures Community. It exists for us create and vote for proposals and investments that benefit those who participate. Through the discussions held by the community and research performed by AV researchers, we hope to provide amazing financial growth for all investors. Our investment thesis is to be there first or be the smartest traders in the space.
